When someone you love dies, there is no roadmap.
Through ceremony, story, and unhurried conversation, we help families create moments of remembrance that feel honest, personal, and deeply human — not built from a checklist, but shaped around the person you are trying to honour.
"The goal is not to sound polished. The goal is to sound like love."
Philip gathers the moments, the details, the small true things — and shapes them into words the family will return to for the rest of their lives.
Story
Words that feel true. Words that carry the weight of a life.
The tribute is often the part families worry about most. What to say. How to say it. Whether it will do justice to someone who deserved so much more than a few minutes at a lectern.
Philip writes tributes the way they should be written — gathered from the people who knew the person best, shaped into something that sounds like them, and delivered with the care the moment deserves.

About Philip
Death care has been part of Philip Smith's life since he was 17. Over four decades, it has run alongside everything else he has done — not as a side interest, but as a constant thread. A vocation he has never left.
Since 2015 alone, he has led more than 1,000 funeral and memorial services and personally supported more than 1,700 families at a point of loss. He works with all faiths and none — with families who want a traditional service and those who want something entirely their own.
Philip also serves as a Death Doula and holds Non-Denominational Clergy ordination — meaning he can support families through the full arc of end-of-life, from the earliest conversations to the final ceremony.
"What a tremendous burden you take on for us at such a time. What strength it takes to do that. And you do it with such grace, skill and compassion."
